t's interesting to see that many small VOIP providers are ready to experiment with FREE VOIP calls. We found a VOIP service who is offering Free voip calls in lieu of advertisements.
EvaPhone is a free voip calling service to make totally free international calls to over 40 countries. EvaPhone is simple, no registration, no VOIP softphones to download. Just go to EvaPhone and make free calls. EvaPhone offers these free calls in lieu of Advertisements. Every time you make a call, they play about 10-15 secs ad before your call begins. Once the ad ends, your calls is immediately connected.
Lets see how we can use EvaPhone.
1) Go to EvaPhone.
2) Let the flash widget load.
3) To make a free call through the EVAPHONE system, enter the number.
4) Press the call button. Now you have to watch a short promo video.
Note: The duration and number of calls is limited in time and per IP-address.
When we tried calling a singapore mobile number, It only offered about 2 mins of free call time. We wonder if this can change based on country of origination and termination of the VOIP call. EvaPhone doesn't mention any fixed minutes they offer each call, keeping it open.

We noticed about 2 days back, that Earthcaller VOIP service vanished overnight. When we tried to visit their homepage, it was showing a parked page. oops, What was wrong. I guess someone messed up at Network Enhanced Telecom changed the DNS settings? Well only they know it better. Its back now, so finally my most favorite Free USA Calling service is back and working great!
If you missed calling your friends and family in USA, maybe its a good time to give them a call with Earthcaller.
What we seriously like about Earthcaller which lacks in other FREE VOIP services:
1) Easy to use - Just put a USA number (without +1 dial code) and Call
2) Lightweight Active X control- Only one time download
3) Browser based- However works only on Internet Explorer
4) No big files downloads or softphones to run- Less memory consumption.
On other side, Earthcaller guys are running one of the most brilliant VOIP service called Jaduka. Those of you who never heard of Jaduka, here is a quick plug.
Jaduka still works great for other nations including USA, Singapore etc. I suggest you try making 60 mins free calls to various destinations and let us know which country worked for you. I tried singapore and it worked great. You can of course make multiple accounts to get more free minutes.

Free Phone calls to 20 destinations
It's been a long time since we discussed about FREE VOIP calls. Seriously, no free calls provider found for one full week must be something strange :-) However we finally found one. This VOIP provider should allow you to make calls to over 20 odd countries.
While lurking around the internet to search for that next FREE VOIP calls provider, we stumbled across icallfree. A totally free calling service very similar to Click2call. Its absolutely identical, besides the fact that icallfree provides free calls to some countries not covered by click2call.
icallfree currently offers free calls to over 20 countries. Some of the read odd ones are Malaysia, colombia, Thailand etc which typically never make it to the Free Calling Country list.
The only catch however is you can only make free calls for 5 mins per call with a restriction of 3 calls in a day.
Now a possible hack: If you have dynamic IP, you can refresh your IP each time you complete your call limit of 15 minutes per day. With a new IP address, you can make calls all over again.
